Earthen Echoes

This stunning large-scale mixed media work was the result of a highly collaborative and intentional creative process between the client and artist. From the initial concept to the final brushstroke, every element was thoughtfully considered to complement the space, style, and personality of the home it now inhabits.

During our early meetings, we discussed the specific room where the piece would be displayed, carefully reviewing sample textures, finishes, and color palettes. The clients gravitated toward earthy, grounding tones with a blend of sophistication and subtle edge—requesting a piece that had rich texture, depth, warmth, and just a touch of grunge.

The result is a layered, expressive painting that feels both serene and bold. Soft washes of sage, ivory, and sand are interrupted by deep fields of black and espresso, while vertical bands and raw brushstrokes suggest architectural movement and time-worn surfaces. In person, the texture is especially compelling—inviting viewers to linger, reflect, and feel.
