My name is Liz,

 

I’m known as The Mixed Media Collaborator — an award-winning artist with over 10 years of teaching experience and a background in neuroscience. I blend art and science to lead team-building workshops that encourage innovation, spark creative thinking, and foster stronger connections in the workplace.

Through Liz Alzona Art LLC, I design custom experiences that support creative problem-solving, collaboration, and professional innovation. Grounded in cognitive science and informed by years of artistic practice, my workshops offer a balance of structured guidance and open-ended exploration — ideal for universities, organizations, and teams ready to think differently and work better together.

I’ve lead workshops at the High Museum in Atlanta for the Georgia Art Educators Association, and have been invited to guide sessions across Georgia. I continue to teach in my hometown of Alpharetta and beyond, where participants leave the workshops feeling energized, confident, and inspired. One attendee even described the experience as “a magical journey.”
